Hi hi Ayez here!
Long time no see. Busy busy days for me. Ahahaha! Anyways, as the title above says, Animasia Studio (the place where I'm working right now) is in desperate needs of workers since we are currently having multiple projects at one time. We are looking for those who has good skill and strong passion towards drawing, eager to learn new things, have a very strong will, and most importantly those with great working attitude to join us for these openings.

Huge openings for Animators position. If you are interested to to join in but worried that you don't have any degree or certificate in animation or related field, don't worry. Our company doesn't really look into qualifications based on that piece of paper. We are more keen on your portfolio so please bring your best work on papers and impress us! As for me, I am not graduated from animation field and have ZERO knowledge in animation but I am happy working here learning a lot of things from my fellow seniors. The colleagues here are very nice people and are very helpful in guiding us newbies. Their attitude are all so gila-gila also haha and I hardly get bored here. I've been working here for more than 6 months and have learn a lot more than I could ever imagine.

As an additional information, we are using Flash software to animate. We don't use much of the tweening animation as you most probably see being used a lot in 2D animation on TV. We animate key by key, thus the strong need for drawing skills. Busy days ahead

Happy belated New Year and Happy Early Chinese New year to all of you. Haha with that, that doesn't make me neither late nor early in wishing new year.

I have nothing much to say, (but I bet you I'll end up writing long rambling journal anyway), just that I wanna thank all of you who came by FaZuu booth during ComicFiesta for support. It doesn't really matter if you bought our stuff or just came by to talk, I really appreciate the effort made to just come over. Thankyou again~~ and hey guess what, we managed to sell all 50 copies of our 3rd doujin this year and manage to clear out most of our sketchbooks/notebooks too. Yay! It was made possible thanx to you guys. Urhm... Really sorry for those who're looking forward for the continuation of "The Story of Us".. T_T I didn't manage to finish that due to several reason. I'm at fault, and I'm really sorry for that. I'll make sure that I'll finish the series on our next debut

On work related subject, my time is pretty much occupied with work. I have to work overtime everyday to catch up with the dateline but whatdaheck I don't really mind staying back late for work. I'm having fun doing animation and learning new stuff from my seniors. They're really very friendly and helpful. Makes me want to improve myself more and more under their guidance. Other than learning how to animate, and draw better, I also managed to learn how to speak Mandarin and Cantonese hahaha! All the "good part" and also the "bad part" of learning language.

Thanx to ~Zeen84 and ~KHONGKL, two of the best sifu in Animasia.

I really enjoy my work now. ^^ Ah~ Hopefully this feeling will last long.

All right gonna work on the weekly practice now.

p/s: Ouyah, I love ToraDora coz Aisaka Taiga reminds me so much about myself!! HAHA!!

p/p/s: I've been hearing a lot of comments that I've grown fatter since I'm working. T_____T *curses*

Hehe.. It's been a while. It's not that I don't want to update but since my sub has died on me I don't want to revert back to this old and boring journal uhuhuhuuu... but whatdaheck, no use mourning over such things right?

Hey heyyy I'm baccckkk!!

Working life has been very VERY pleasing and entertaining for me wheeheee~~ ^^ I'm getting very much used to it by now. Still so much to learn. It's really nice to learn when your seniors and superiors are willing to share their valuable experience with you. Now it's up to you yourself to absorb it and make full use of the knowledge.

Ah~ Life.

Speaking of life, err, the next step of life I'd be taking is marriage. (ohshit it shivers me to the spine just thinking about the responsibilities) O_O; The date has be pre-set already. Me and my committed 5 year realationship partner are planning to get married in May 31st (If all goes well). Hey that's 5 days after my birthday ya-ha-haa! Anyone of you living around Shah Alam/Klang Valley who wishes to be invited, please note me your home address so I can send you the wedding invitation. Though no wedding card have been printed out yet but whatdaheck, better ask it out early than later right? +v+ heheheheheee...

I AM WORKING NAAOOO!!! YAAAHAAA!!!

I am working at a local 2D animation company - ANIMASIA! Just started work for about five days and so far all I have to say about the working experience is, I really enjoyed myself there. I totally love the working environment and the working as well as relaxing spaces. Where can you find a studio in Malaysia which dedicated one of it's floor just for recreation and games?!! The whole floor!! WOOHTT!! They have PS2, Wii (just came by today), snooker board, pingpong, punching bag (came by two days ago), shelves full of comics and magazines, and also mini-theatre (seriously like a mini TGV or GSC cinema) where staff can karaoke and let the stress out. All on the same floor.

They have just finished renovating the ground floor and it's turned into a nice office and studio already. They have put up big signboard in front of the building so that you'd notice it easily. (Mind you before this I had trouble finding the place XD)

I also love the colleague. Most of them are really friendly. Loves to smile and greet people around. I felt very welcomed and warm. ^^ Plus all of them enjoys ACG (anime comics games) stuff and I felt a sense of belonging. My past working environment when I was torturing myself as an architecture student was totally different from what I felt here.

Back in my architecture studio, I hardly could find people who can draw figures (not that there's none but very few), no one knows how to CG using photoshop. No one reads comics. No one plays knows what cosplay is. No one.. well, the list could go on. Heheh..
Oh did I say No one.. I exaggerated. I meant to say, "very few".. :3

All in all, it's a great experience for me to learn and work about animation at the same time. I have no knowledge in flash but little by little, I'm gaining the knowledge. Thanx so much for the people there who're very helpful and concerned. (every now and then come by my place and ask how I'm doing) O_O

So for any of you Malaysians out there who're very interested in arts and animation, maybe trying to find a job but has no higher education qualification (degree, diploma, whatever) and most importantly, have the willingness to gain knowledge and to learn new things, I'd recommend you to come for an interview to work. Even if you don't plan to join, the interview itself has given so much knowledge already. ^^ Yep!!

Siblings Rivalry

Hoho!
I just had a conversation on YM and somehow the story about siblings come out. I just told him about something "evil" I did to my younger brother (who's two years younger than me) back when I was 9 years old. Or younger... Not quite remember. Well the story goes...

I was fighting with my brother over something. I didn't get what I wanted because my mother backed him up, leaving me a sorry pissed off little girl. Being the evil me, I wanted REVENGE!!! So what I did, I make my brother this sweet red syrup drink (it's called Air Sirap, my dear Malaysians) that he likes so much into a bottle and gave it to him with a sweet smile. He drinks it, suspecting nothing evil from me. Later, he coughed and cried and said that thing was SPICY and HOT!!! He burned his lips and I had a really great laugh!!

I was satisfied!
(and ended up getting beat up by my mom again) XD

Hahaha.. Actually I didn't actually make him a sweet red syrup drink. I mixed Lingham's Chilli Sauce with warm water and shake it well and give it to him. Woohoo! Back then, that chilli sauce is theee hottest sauce a kid could taste.

Fresh blended chillies. :3 It's THICK!!

Another friend once told me the most evil thing she ever did to her younger brother was to put him inside a washing machine and left him there until the maid come by and checked it up. XD

And another friend said he once played this tricycle with his little sister. They weren't really riding the bike but turned the tricycle upside down and turns the paddle so that the back of the tire would go round rapidly. (just for fun) Then he asked his sister to touch the tire. Guess what, the little girl's finger got snapped in between the rods of the tire and she got her fingers stuck at the chain at the end of it. O_O She bleeds like mad, and my friend just left her there and act as if nothing happened.

All of this evil things were done when we're little. XD Kids are just darn evil.
